My name is Marjan, and I’m a Norwegian Daniel-Fan. How I became one?
Well, my man is German and I have friends in Deutschland, so I understand German well. I also speak German - but I will say it's "fließend falsch"! So ich schreibe nicht so gerne, schreibe lieber englisch. I sometimes watch German TV, like Tatort and German news (many Norwegians watch English, German, Swedish ..etc ..tv), and I also watched the final of DSDS the last 3 years.
That’s how I became a fan of Daniel. And I do fanwork in Norway! I found the idea of Jana + Jana – who are posting song-requests to US radio stations und blogged about it on this page – absolutely brilliant. So now I also send the link for "If It's Love" to different radio stations - in Norwegen.
Myself, I do not listen to the radio every day, so I probably will not hear the song if its played on the radio. I used to listen to the radio in the morning and the afternoon going to work. But almost a year now I have only been playing Daniels cd’s up and down… every day.
I never did this before …send a songrequest, or anything at all, to a radio station.
But apparently Daniel-fans do a lot of things for the first time- when es um Daniel geht!
I’m totally addicted to Daniels voice. The first time I noticed this superb artist was when he was singing “Soulmate” in the final of DSDS. That was the first time I noticed what a great artist he is, and I was immediately hooked up. And when he won, I found it sooooo verdient! After that I have been “following” Daniel on the tube. Tusen takk… thanks …vielen Dank… to all Daniel-fans for bringing out all events about Daniel, small and big, on the tube !
Ich denke it's the hole package that makes Daniels fans so fond of him. There are a lot of musicians with brilliant / special / interesting voices. But Daniel has a very lovable personality, is funny and humoristic, seems clever and gives reflected interviews, he's got brain and he uses it! You have to see / hear him in interviews or live to get to learn these sides of him, so the best he can do to reach out beyond his fans, is to be as visible as possible on all kind of stages.
Daniel, I think you are a great artist and a lovely person - and don't forget, many artist need years to reach what you have developed in one year ! You are still young as an artist,.. and you have plenty of time . ...just go on as you do..

Ich heiße Marjan, und ich bin ein norwegischer Daniel-Schuhmacher-Fan. Wie das kommt?
Also, mein Mann ist Deutscher, und ich habe Freunde in Deutschland, darum verstehe ich gut Deutsch. Ich spreche auch deutsch, aber ich würde sagen - "fließend falsch"! Darum schreibe ich es nicht so gerne, schreibe lieber auf Englisch. Manchmal schaue ich deutsches Fernsehen, Tatort zum Beispiel oder deutsche Nachrichten (viele Norweger schauen schwedisches, deutsches, britisches TV), und in den vergangenen drei Jahren habe ich auch die DSDS-Finalshows geschaut.
So wurde ich ein Fan von Daniel. Und ich mache Fanarbeit in Norwegen! Ich finde die Idee von Jana+Jana - die "If it's love" an US-Radiosender schicken und hier darüber geschrieben haben - brillant! Also schicke ich den Link zum Song jetzt an die verschiedenen Radiosender in Norwegen.
Falls er gespielt wird, werde ich das wahrscheinlich nicht mitbekommen, weil ich nicht jeden Tag Radio hören. Das habe ich mal, immer auf dem Weg zur Arbeit und nach Hause. Aber seit gut einem Jahr höre ich nur noch Daniels CD's rauf und runter - jeden Tag.
Ich habe das noch nie gemacht - einen Hörerwunsch an einen Radiosender verschickt oder so... Aber scheinbar tun viele Daniel-Fans eine ganze Menge zum allerersten mal - wenn es um Daniel geht!
Ich bin total süchtig nach Daniels Stimme. Das erste Mal, dass mir dieser grandiose Künstler aufgefallen ist, war im Finale von DSDS, als er "Soulmate" sang. Das war das erste Mal, dass ich merkte, was für ein großartiger Künstler er ist, und ich war sofort süchtig. Und als er gewann, fand ich das sooooo verdient! Seitdem "folge" ich Daniel auf youtube. Tausend Dank an alle Daniel-Fans, die jedes Event, egal, ob klein oder groß, auf die Tube stellen!
Ich denke, es ist das Gesamtpaket, in das die Fans so verliebt sind. Viele Sänger haben brillante, spezielle, interessante Stimmen - aber Daniel hat außerdem eine sehr liebenswerte Persönlichkeit, ist witzig und hat Humor, scheint clever zu sein und gibt reflektierte Interviews, er hat Hirn und gebraucht es auch! Man muss ihn in Interviews sehen/hören oder live erleben, um diese Seiten an ihm kennenzulernen, darum ist das Beste, was er tun kann, um die Menschen jenseits seiner Fangemeinde zu erreichen: auf allen Ebenen präsent zu sein.
Daniel, ich finde, du bist ein großartiger Künstler und ein toller Mensch - und vergiss nicht, viele Künstler brauchen Jahre, um das zu erreichen, was du in einem Jahr erreicht hast! Du bist noch jung und hast massig Zeit ... mach einfach so weiter!
