Vintage Midi-Minuit Fantastique #21

Gorgeous Hammer starlet Veronica Carlson on the cover of the April/May 1970 issue of the near mythical French magazine, Midi-Minuit Fantastique, along with a full-page black and white still from the same source. These images are from a series of highly moody and suggestively nude publicity shots for Hammer's 1969, Frankenstein Must be Destroyed. These images are pure publicity and not representative of scenes contained in the movie. These shots are often wrongly attributed to Freddie Francis' 1968, Dracula has Risen from the Grave, as that movie does have a sequence during which Veronica Carlson roams through the woods in a nightgown.
