The Conjectures of a Chief of the Homicide Squad

Some Continental Film Review images from Stefano Vanzina's 1972 polizieschi, La Polizia Ringrazia (Execution Squad), a movie that in this vintage magazine, upon its original release, was advertised under the title of Ipotesi del Capo della Squadra Omicidi, which translates as the Conjectures of a chief of the homicide squad, an early title most likely inspired by Damiano Damiani's highly influential 1971 film, Confessione di un Commissario di Polizia al Procuratore della Repubblica (Confessions of a Police Captain). Steno's movie features Laura Belli, who was a regular in these violent cop thriller, with credits like, La Polizia sta ha Guardare (1973), Milano Odia: la Polizia no puo Sparare (Almost Human - 1974) and Da Corleone a Brooklyn (1979), along with Mariangela Melato (image above) Rosemary Lindt and Ada Pometti as a prostitute (images below).
