Euro Jungle Girls, Tarzana and Luana

Some Cinema X images from two eurojungle adventures. In Tarzana, Sesso Selvaggio (1969), directed by the infamous Guido Malatesta, some hunters on safari in Kenya discover the remains of a small plane. Inside are two skeletons and a girl's doll. When the news of the discovery reaches London, Sir Donovan, an old millionaire who has lost his son and daughter in law, along with their baby girl Lizabeth, in the same region some 16 years previously, realizes that his granddaughter, and now 18-year old heiress, may still be roaming around the slopes of the Kilimandjaro. An expedition is organized, headed by Glen Shipper (Ken Clark), the best hunter in Kenya. On his search he will be accompanied by Donovan's blonde secretary, Doris, Groder (Franco Ressel), a distant relative of Donovan, and Groder's shady friend, Fred (Raf Baldassarre), who is out to kill the girl, leaving the greedy Groder in possession of Donovan's millions...

Tarzana in her cushy jungle den and Doris in the privacy of her tent.
Doris washes some of that jungle grime away.
Apart from the ever lovely Femi Benussi as Tarzana, the film also features black genre fav Beryl Cunningham as Kamala, a native dancer and Franca Polesello as the ditzy secretary. Also known as Tarzana, The Wild Girl.

Luana, la Figlia delle Foresta Vergine features Mei Chen who, according to the original publicity, is 'the most beautiful savage ever seen on the screen, lythe as a lynx, agile as a fawn, as sinuous as a panther and warm as the tropic sun.' This sounds even more seductive in Italian, '... flessibile come una liana - flessuossa come una pantera - calda come il sole dei tropici...' The lovely Evi Marandi shows off her considerable charms as well.
