Obscure Starlets: Francy Fair

Starlet Francy Fair on the cover of vintage Belgian magazine Ciné-Revue, July 1971. In the early 1970s, Francy Fair appeared in a few Italian and German (sex) comedies: Bruno Corbucci's Due Bianchi nell'Africa Nera (1970) with Franco and Ciccio, Rolf Thiele's Komm nach Wien, Ich Zeich dir Was! (1970), Hänsel und Gretel Verliefen sich im Wald (1970), Komm, Liebe Maid und Mache, with Edwige Fenech (The Brazen Women of Balzac - 1970) and Enzo Barboni's Anche Gli Angeli Mangiano Fagioli (1973), with Bud Spencer and Giuliano Gemma.

Obscure Starlets: Ariane Sapriel

Full-page Ciné Monde image of pretty eurostarlet Ariane Sapriel, whose career apparently spanned only two movies: Alain Robbe-Grillet's Trans-Europe-Express in 1967 and Jean Rollin's Le Viol du Vampire in 1968.

Obscure Starlets: Kassia Bartel

Kassia Bartel (or Katia Bartell) in a full page Cinémonde image from José Bénazéraf's Un Epais Manteau de Sang (1967). It is her only movie credit. Cinémonde was a French magazine dedicated to films and stars, published between 1927 and 1968. It shortly reappeared  between 1970 and 1971 as Le Nouveau Cinémonde. It is similar in style to Ciné-Revue although it tends to contain less nudity, no doubt due to the magazine not being around long during the more frivolous 1970s.
