Stunning Eleonora Giorgi in a full page Ciné-Revue image. Giorgi is best know to genre fans for her appearances in Romolo Guerrieri's Liberi Armati Pericolosi (Young Violent Dangerous - 73) and Dario Argento's brilliant Inferno (1980). She also made quite an impression with Domenico Paolella's Storia di una Monaca di Clausura (1973). You'll find some more stuff on that movie here and here. Apparently Eleonora Giorgi started her career with uncredited appearances in La Tarantola dal Ventre Nero (1971, as a maid in the beauty center) and the eurowestern, Tutti per Uno ... Botte per Tutti (1973, as the lover in the opening sequence).

The Inquisition and more Cloistered Nuns
Continental Film Review article on Domenico Paolella's Storia di una Monaca di Clausura (1973) with some nicely evocative images, particularly of a tied-up and whipped (and gorgeous) Eleonora Giorgi. At the end of the piece, note the juicy provisory title of another proposed sequel, Torquemada and the Inquisition to be directed by Paolella. Sadly, that one never got made, though...
Cloistered Nuns and Devils
Some censored original Spanish stills from Domenico Paolella's beautifully shot La Storia di una Monaca di Clausura (1973)(The Story of a Cloistered Nun). More historical drama than actual nunsploitation, this is a wonderfully stylish and atmospheric film, featuring a veritable parade of lovely eurostarlets: Catherine Spaak, Suzy Kendall, Eleonora Giorgi, Martine Brochard and an early appearance of Paola Senatore.
