Enghlish (short) version:
In 1999, TJ Dumas started together with Teri Nguyen Beatdownsounds.com, a website dedicated to strictly Detroit dj's that play house and more over Detroit House! Beatdownsounds.com re-focused needed attention not only to the dj's in Detroit that was bangin out parties but also a certain sound that was emerging out of Detroit. Partnering with Norm Talley, Delano Smith and Mike Clark, Beatdownsounds.com grew to be one of the staples dj-promotions team in the city and country. After Beatdownsounds.com, TJ Dumas partnered with Delano Smith to start MixMode Recordings which saw the release of "Feel This" a deep rich Detroit tune by Delano Smith.
After the release, TJ Dumas wanted to venture into the production end of music so he launched Gabbamonkey Productions, a truely unique Detroit sound, incoporating jazz, techno and deep house into a medley of deep, dance floor sounds made to rock your body. "Want", off of "The Lost Tracks Of Detroit" Still Music - is a remix of Chic's "I want your love" and his debut as a producer. Working with some of the new producers in Detroit, Gabbamonkey Records will be releasing some really hot joints in the very near future!
Und jetzt geht's endlich auch zum Mix.
